QED-C has released two new white papers outlining our policy positions on priority issues shaping the future of the quantum industry. These resources capture the consortium’s collective perspective and are designed to help ensure consistent messaging across the ecosystem.
The white papers are available exclusively to QED-C members and serve as a resource to support alignment in policy discussions and related activities.
The QED-C Law & Policy TAC is hosting a one-day Quantum Policy Bootcamp designed for small and mid-size quantum companies and their outside counsel. This plain-language program will help participants navigate compliance requirements, anticipate funding opportunities, and strengthen their voice in the policy process.

As part of the International Year of Quantum, this gathering offers QED-C members a chance to connect, collaborate, and drive progress on key industry challenges through panels, keynotes, and working sessions. Non-members, including investors and end users, are invited to attend the Quantum Technology Expo on November 6.
Software Foundations for Valuable Quantum Computing August 14 | Member Event
Watch the keynotes from Dr. Oliver Thomson Brown, Chancellor’s Fellow at EPCC, and Dr. Jason Selby, Director of Software at Xanadu, which focused on practical approaches to software development and strategies for preparing organizations to harness quantum technology effectively.
Tech Policy Intern Capstone Presentations August 12 | Member Event
QED-C’s Law & Policy TAC summer interns shared insights from their work advancing quantum policy, from mapping U.S. QIST funding to shaping global conversations on technology sovereignty. Their capstone discussion highlighted emerging priorities and the evolving landscape of quantum policy worldwide.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting proposals towards the realization of heterogeneous quantum computing architectures. This program will explore how to combine distinct qubit types – each providing best-in-class performance specific to processing, memory, or communication function – into interconnected, heterogeneous quantum systems.
