QED-C has released two new white papers outlining our policy positions on priority issues shaping the future of the quantum industry. These resources capture the consortium’s collective perspective and are designed to help ensure consistent messaging across the ecosystem. 

 

The white papers are available exclusively to QED-C members and serve as a resource to support alignment in policy discussions and related activities.

Heterogeneous Architectures for Quantum (HARQ)  

Deadlines: August 28, 2025 

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting proposals towards the realization of heterogeneous quantum computing architectures.  This program will explore how to combine distinct qubit types – each providing best-in-class performance specific to processing, memory, or communication function – into interconnected, heterogeneous quantum systems.
